Three more good citizens!

We do share a lot of stories of horses we have helped receive the Last Act of Kindness. But a big part of what we do is also help stallions become good citizens, giving them a better life as geldings and preventing unwanted horses from being born. We are always so happy to receive applications for our Gelding Grant, especially when the stallions are young. 🐎

We met the owners of these beautiful boys when we were at the Horse Expo in Red Deer, Alberta in April. Unfortunately they struggled financially the past couple of years due to health issues and an injury, impacting their ability to work. But they are committed to being responsible horse owners and had every intention of having them gelded. When they applied for our Gelding Grant we were more than happy to be able to help. Now these boys are proudly good citizens. 💁

We couldn't do what we do without the support of our donors. You make all of it possible. It means so much to have been able to provide the owners with our Gelding Grant. It is life changing for these horses, setting them up for a better future.
