Summer

Summer had been surrendered to 5 Freedoms Ranch Rescue when her owner had a severe accident and could no longer care for her. She was rehomed but came back to the rescue when they could no longer care for her either. We are so grateful to 5 Freedoms for taking her in and later being the safe place for her to return. By all accounts she was one of the lucky ones.

Summer was Honey the hinny's best friend. It is always so beautiful to witness the bond that develops between horses. No doubt Summer made Honey feel safe and helped her overcome her fears. Summer was 27 and had developed cancer. She was lovingly given the Last Act of Kindness along with Honey. They left this world together. We were so pleased to support 5 Freedoms with our Humane Euthanasia Grant.
