Starlight

More great news from The Heart of Horsemanship. Starlight was recently rescued at auction in Manitoba. The papers that were provided said he was just a year old but vets later confirmed he was actually 3 and half years old. While this may seem like a minor distinction, it just goes to show how people hide the truth when selling horses at auction. At least in Starlight's case, they weren't hiding anything else. He is a healthy pony who has been well handled, is halter broke and picks up his feet nicely. He is a real sweetheart.

Starlight was recently gelded and we were so pleased to have been able to provide The Heart of Horsemanship with our Gelding Grant. It is so important that stallions are gelded. Not only does it mean they won't be adding to the unwanted horse population, but they live much better lives as geldings.

We are excited for his future as he undergoes training and lives his best life as a good citizen.
