Rescuers are angels among us

There truly are angels among us and they are the people who rescue animals. The people who own and operate Willow Creek Stables are angels who rescue horses. They do it as private individuals, not as a nonprofit or a charity, as a labour of love. They took in this very senior gelding and with their vet tried everything to make him comfortable. But his body was ready and they gave him the Last Act of Kindness. We are grateful they took him, gave him a good last summer and then did right by him. We are grateful too that we could support them with our Humane Euthanasia grant.
