Mellow

Mellow is now a good citizen! We told you about Diamond who we helped become a gelding last year after he and the rest of his herd were rescued. Mellow was also gelded at the same time but we are just sharing his story now. When they all arrived, one in particular was quite sick and had to hospitalized and Mellow went to the vet with him to keep his friend company. Even though they were feral, Mellow was always gentle, sweet and kind. He has since learned to be haltered and led, he now is learning to tie and pick up his feet at liberty. He is learning that humans can be loving and he enjoys cuddles. Thank you to The Heart of Horsemanship for rescuing them.
