Kahuna

Isn't he gorgeous! And now he is a good citizen too

Kahuna's dam was rescued at auction and later gave birth to him in the safety of Horseheroesalberta. We are so grateful for their continued rescue efforts. It isn't easy going to an auction to save horses from slaughter. Thanks to their efforts and dedication, Kahuna has only known kindness from humans. He was recently gelded and we were so pleased to support them with our Gelding Grant.

Horses have much better lives as geldings, for so many reasons. Breeding should only be done responsibly and with a commitment to the well being of the dam and the future of the off spring.
