We at Horse Aid Canada have a soft spot for senior horses. This darling lady was approximately 30 years old, which is close to 85 in human years. She did very well for a long time but she was suffering from founder and was in chronic pain that could be treated. We are so grateful to 5 Freedoms Ranch Rescue and Rehab for taking her in earlier this year and loving her enough to give her the Last Act of Kindness. It means so much to us that we can support horse rescues across Canada with our Humane Euthanasia and Gelding grants.
