It is always sad when a horse in its prime is suffering from an untreatable condition. This beautiful girl was in so much pain she didn't want to be touched. She had terrible arthritis in her neck that was causing neurological and hind end problems. We are so grateful to Hopeful Hooves Equine Rescue for taking her in earlier this year and trying to help her heal. Unfortunately there was nothing more they could do and she was given the Last Act of Kindness. It means so much to us that we can support horse rescues across Canada with our Humane Euthanasia and Gelding grants.
