We at Horse Aid Canada have a soft spot for senior horses. This gentleman was approximately 30 years old, which is close to 85 in human years. He did very well for a long time but in the end old age and its ailments caught up with him. We are so grateful to Hopeful Hooves Equine Rescue for taking him in earlier this year and loving him enough to do right by him and give him the Last Act of Kindness. It means so much to us that we can support horse rescues across Canada with our Humane Euthanasia and Gelding grants.
