This beautiful boy was suffering with a severe heart murmur and with missing teeth he was having trouble digesting his food. Horses need to masticate their food in order for the bodies to absorb the nutrients. When they can't their health suffers. We are grateful to New Start Standardbred Adoption for being there for him in his greatest time of need and giving him the Last Act of Kindness. We are proud and grateful to support the efforts of horse rescues across Canada with our Humane Euthanasia and Gelding grants.
