A very lucky horse

Few horses spend their lives with the same owner. This beautiful girl was one of the lucky ones. She had the same people from the time she was born. At age 27, she had done well but her body had become too painful and nothing more could be done. It is so hard to watch one's horse decline and worry about how they will fare over winter. Sometimes the best we can do for them is to say goodbye on a good day. We are so thankful this beautiful girl's owner did just that and spared her from any further suffering. We are very grateful she reached out to us for help and we were able to provide assistance with our Humane Euthanasia grant.
